How can anyone with a conscience not be upset with abortion ... ???

This is a great tragedy that abortion is allowed in America. My heart is very grevious this morning. I'm glad that I did not vote for Obama ...

It is sad, indeed.

What is done in this country, to bypass the conscience, is to simply redefine the murdering of unborn or just-born children.
You first call it the elimination of undesired "protoplasm".
You then say that it is a woman's right to have complete control over that "protoplasm".
That control extends to the fourth trimester, when deciding whether to keep the "protoplasm".
Once the decision is made by the mother to keep the "protoplasm", then it becomes a viable human baby.
The most important thing is that all of this must be called "Pro-choice". If you dare to call it the murdering of unborn or just-born children, that is a form of hate-speech.
The blood of these children has been calling out to God for some time now.

What few people realise is that there are actually 3 sides to the abortion issue, not 2 (and I'm not even talking about the unborn child's point of view, that's a whole other story!)

The first difficulty is in realising what 'pro-choice' really is. The choice is made when a person chooses to have sex; pregnancy is simply one of the possible consequences of that choice. This is a definition that the the so-called 'pro-choice' group would never admit to, since it also ties in the whole issue of promiscuity, another taboo topic.

'Pro-life', of course, is exactly what you would expect.

The third group, the one to which most who would call themselves 'pro-choice' really belong, I call the 'have your cake and eat it too' group. It's nothing less than an attempt to have sin without consequence. Such attempts are always doomed to failure - sin always has its consequences. "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)

I've played a lot of cRPG games in my time, and I've noticed that they have a rather strange concept of good and evil. Actions that affect a player's good/evil alignment are usually actions that I would classify as selfless/selfish.

I've found that many moral or ethical choices (in this case, from the point of view of a pregnant woman considering abortion) can be reduced to a simple equation: which path is selfish, and which is selfless? In cases where the deliniation is clear, the 'good' path becomes painfully obvious.

I'm not afraid to stand up and call abortion what it really is -- murder .... plain and simple.
