This is a gaint bubble out in space, found in a nebula.
"Adrift in the ]rich star fields of the constellation Cygnus, this lovely, symmetric bubble nebula was only recently recognized and may not yet appear in astronomical catalogs."

Here is the Nebula that the bubble is found in.
If you'll note the bright cloud like object in the middle of the photo, the bubble is just below and to the left slightly. I do not think you can see it on the photo though.

That is cool!! Isn't it amazing what outerspace looks like? And to think, God created all of this!

That is cool. I was trying to figure out how big that bubble is, and came up with a guess-timate that it is a little bigger than our solar system.
And to think that some can't see that, God the creator. Makes me wonder Terri, what an empty feeling one must have if they see a godless universe and nothing beyond this life.

I've never understood that either, actually. I'm wondering if this is where egocentricism comes in. To me it just seems logical that the end of the physical life isn't the end of life. If for no other reason, it would seem that everything we see die feeds something else or is reborn, so essentially nothing ever really dies. I mean, if one were convinced there wasn't a God, it still seems like they'd think there was an "after" life.
(As an aside, in a book on fractal geometry the case was made that since we all breath air, we are quite literally breathing some of the same air that, say, Hitler breathed. And since oxygen helps form our cells, there is a part of everyone in creation past and present within each of us..literally, not new agey.)

Agreed.

I have heard that before, also. I also have heard that about water to.
I dun' know. I guess it could be true. I hate to think that I am breathing something that came out of Hitler's foul mouth. http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_15_7.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZNxdm824MNUS)

As I remember it Ted that feeling is beautiful, cold, and hostile...like a black October wind blowing through the tree of the soul.
