You take some hamburger and press it into paddy's about 4-4 1/2 inches in diameter and about an 1/2 inch think. Sprinkle some garlic salt on them and a little pepper. Then cook them on the grill till you like em'.
Eat two with a little mayo, mustard and pickles.

No no my friend..........FIRST you finely chop jalapeno peppers and onion, which you mix into the burger (less or more peppers depending upon the durability of your mucous membranes). Even if you are not a fan of the hot stuff, just a tiny bit add real zing and flavor to the burger........you don't have to go wild with it.
Then you further add A-1 steak sauce to the mix. Grill as you like it. Now THAT'S a good burger!!

I'm a red meat man myself..........nothing like a burger on the grill!!
Living in South Florida, I don't have a season where I can't fire up the grill and sear the carcass of some unfortunate beast.
Do you like spicy food?? I'm tellin' ya.......those jalapeno burgers are fantastic!!
My mom used to do some cool things with hot dogs too........she used to boil the hot dogs (Sabrett's are my favorite) until they were cooked. Then she would split them lengthwise nearly all the way through.
In the split she would spoon mashed potatos with onion, then cover it with grated or sliced cheese (I prefer monterey jack........spicy, you know).
Then she would pop them into a toaster oven at 375 until the cheese melted. No buns..........just plop it on a plate with some coleslaw and beans on the side.
Sounds odd...........but tastes great!!:BubbleGum:

South Florida, I don't think you would do well out at the grill here in Michigan. Current temperature is 0. We are looking at warming up to 15 degrees this afternoon. I am known to grill out in the cold from time to time, but when it is this cold it just takes a very long time to cook a burger on the grill. I'll wait until it gets warm, in the 40's, so I can grill out in my short sleeves.

I like spicy, and rather hot spicy at that. Jalapenos are OK. What I don't like is food's that are fiery hot, just don't enjoy it anymore like I used to. When someone tells me, "try this", and they have that evil grin I usually pass.

That sounds like a good recipe to try on the kids too.
