Here we go now with the FDIC (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123630125365247061.html) having their hand out. Sigh.:medium-smiley-023:

Did ya say that "well" with your best Reagan voice?

The liberals are having a heyday thinking of ways to spend money, might as well give it to the FDIC. After all they are the ones that are insuring the banking in America.

Is this a single on how safe our money is in a bank? :bigthink:

Ironically enough, I was just posting on another board the other day about how we were taught all our lives that the Great Depression could never happen again because of all the safety measures in place. And that I was now wondering just how safe those measures were going to end up being. My folks were teenagers and into young adults during the depression, and I'll never forget their skepticism of any kind of safety measure that could be relied on that much.

I'm a thinkin we're a gonna be seein just what those measures are made of. (Best Sgt. York voice...hahahaha!)

Maybe men have trusted in the own devices too much, and now we are going to have them fail. This may be the warning to get our faith in Him instead of the government. It would seem likely that at the time when men are pushing their own agenda's the hardest..., God is quietly calling us to get ready for the shaking that will bring down what is exalted against Him.

Amen. I agree.
