President Obama has not done one thing that I'm aware of that I would support or like. Everything he's done and said have been a source of inflamation to me.

I expected him to be an extreme left European style progressive socialist, but I figured the country might benefit form something he pushed for.

But he seems to be on a mission to transform the nation radically and in a very bad way. I don't think he gives a rip for the constitution or bill of rights or anything charactaristically 'American'. He's like a foreign despot that has taken control of the nation.

And we are only 4 months into this. :L50:

Hey Joe,

I tend to agree with you, although he did a good thing by keeping Gates around.

I agree, and what's really troubling to me is this idea that he seems to have that we can negotiate and come to amiable terms with terrorists or dictators, that we need to downsize our defense system just as places like North Korea are gearing up, and that America is somehow to blame for everything bad that's happening!

Have you heard or seen this:

Democrats praising Castro (http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0409/21008.html)

Granted, this isn't Obama himself heaping praise, but it IS the mindset of this administration. I found it astounding that these folks didn't catch the condescension of Castro's offer of help.

Richardson said Castro knew her name and district. "He looked right into my eyes and he said, 'How can we help? How can we help President Obama?'"

They didn't even catch that he was essentially saying the US was in need of his help! Are they really that naive? And they STILL praised him after this statement by Castro:

In a statement following the meeting today, Castro said that the delegation had expressed to him that a segment of American society “continues to be racist,” and is at least partly to blame for the travel restrictions.

Even though the delegation says:

But the delegation this evening said those remarks were not expressed in the meeting.

“That did not happen,” Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.), told reporters.

Now, if Castro will misrepresent what was said at this meeting, how in the world can they NOT see his talent for manipulation and trickery??

I keep hoping that those who supported Obama will wake up one morning and realize that this self-proclaimed "visionary" is placing our country in a very vulnerable position.

All the more reason we need to bear in mind that God is in control and He has allowed Obama to have this position, so pray, pray, pray, I think!

Hopefully Joe, we'll only have to endure one term of this, and then a conservative government can be elected. :L47:

On another note, we have to work hard to get conservatives elected to Congress in 2010 - and we need to get rid of Pelosi, one of the worst leftwing politicians in America. Take Obama's accomodating Congress away from him, and we'll see how far he gets with making us over in the Socialist model he cherishes. Remember how we defeated Daschle? Well, we can boot out Pelosi if we all work together. Even San Franciscans might see the light.

We're going to a Tea Party this 15th, as well. The newspaper and media will not be able to ignore this grassroots movement if thousands, maybe millions, get involved.

We must take back America. We have an extremist President in power now, someone who says we are not a Christian nation. Well, in some ways that may be true, however you don't stand up and say that to a room full of Muslims. What's the matter with this man? Muslims see weakness, and they think "jihad." And then he bows to the Saudi King - trust me, people didn't like that.

The pendulum swings both ways, and I believe it might be heading toward the right soon.

I agree. The only real viable alternative is when the Republican party gets it's compass back and heads toward being a Conservative party again. Until then, I am voting third party to vote my conscience if they are not offering what I want. Perhaps that will get them back into a right thinking mentality.

Personally I find the Obama/Biden leadership of this country more embarrassing and harmful to our Constitutional liberties as each day passes.
