Some of you may recall that YouTube had recently removed a James White video responding to anti-Christian comments made by Sean Penn.

Now we will see just how long it takes them to respond to legitimately liable attacks against James White : http://aomin.org/aoblog/index.php?itemid=3252

Maybe he should make his own video, stating that he has forgiven whoever put that together just as Jesus has forgiven him, and that he knows God will use it for whatever His purpose might be in it. Maybe he could state that perhaps it will open a door for discussion between he and homosexuals or anyone else who is interested in the Lord. Youtube seems to draw weirdos, but on the other hand, it has its benefits as well (where else can I look up old videos of Stevie Ray Vaughn and see a guitar turned into a living being!!!??...lol).

Rom 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
Rom 12:20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Rom 12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Here's his chance!

Actually Terri, I doubt that James holds a grudge against the entity that produced the false image of himself.

Rather, I think that he is looking to see some sign or responsible culpability on the part of YouTube.

The question is : Is YouTube biased against Christians.

Edited to add : I'll try and keep everyone posted.

apology from Youtube.

I personally would not be too upset over this if I was James. Think about how George Whitefield was stoned and persecuted by those who hated his preaching. He was beaten too.

Many in my country who stand with God against homosexuality are persecuted in the most shocking ways here but then again the LORD has warned that we will be persecuted because of Him. Let us rather rejoice for God says vengeance is His, He will repay.

I agree.

An apology from yt is unlikely.

And I don't see James as being upset. He just wants us to be aware of what is going on.

Thanks for everyones replies :)

Edited to add : it was just me who was incensed - Lol

Nothing surprising here. Anyone that speaks out for Christ can expect to be targeted by those that have hardened their hearts. Maybe we should decide to wear our armour all the time and never let ourselves become slack in our duties. Not saying that about White in particular, but saying that to remind myself of the hostile world we are in. :L21:

Oh, I'm quite sure Youtube is like any other secular media. It's biased against Christians. I guess that's just the way of it.

I wasn't insinuating James would hold a grudge...I was serious. I think he should do that and show the Youtube world what Christ would have done.

In all seriousness, John, I think sometimes we (and I mean myself, too, cause I'm bad at doing it as well), forget that none of this is a surprise, and we are held to a higher standard. I hope that doesn't sound elitist, cause I don't mean it that way. I just mean that we have to expect bias, misrepresentation, and even persecution. We here in the US have no idea what those things really are, I don't think...at least not yet. And, to me, the best way to illustrate a mind of Christ is to respond with forgiveness. That's all I meant.
