We (my wife and I) are planning on going fishing from public pier on the Florida Gulf Coast over the Thanksgiving holidays (including Thanksgiving so our Thanksgiving dinner will probably be sandwiches from cooler and vienna sausages from a can -- we've never were sticklers for tradition. I mention this because the reason we are fishing, our weight loss, is something I am thankful for as well as the fishing itself.
Just wanted to be an illustration that our thanks to God is in the big things as well as the little things.

May your fishing be productive as is your wiegh loss.
He must increase, but I must decrease.

Actually the catching fish part isn't what we're after. Just some nice, quiet rest & relaxation in the great outdoors together. We catch THAT then we caught what we came for. We have a much better chance of catching that than catching real fish.

I hear ya. I go to Canada now and then to "fish". And we spend more time just drifting in the boat and looking at the scenery. Especially if I have my wife with me. We can fellowship with any distraction, at all.
