I just noticed that all of SCHMIT's posts have been removed from CARM and the search function won't bring up anything relating to him. Instead the message appears
The following errors occurred with your search:
Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.
Did SCHMIT finally lose control on some posts that I missed finally putting him over the line? Or did CARM admins quietly remove him? Which probably would make SCHMIT maddest of all since he wouldn't have his "blaze of glory" moment and couldn't consider himself a martyr for the OP cause (although that never stopped his arrogance before).

Strange it took so long, if that is the case.

Yes, he was a rule violator.
At any rate Ted, it looks like CARM will soon be upgrading to the new vB system. Of course, all of us will loose all of our uploads and stuff. If there is anything that you guys would like to keep and perhaps restore later, I recommend that you down load those things now.

All I've got on CARM are my posts. No big deal if they are all lost.
And yes, SCHMIT was a habitual offender. I wonder where he's gone off to. He strikes me as one who has to have confrontations in order to be happy. And he strikes me as one who takes perverse pleasure in tearing others down.

Must be they are going to prune some of the earlier stuff. No information should be lost in the update. Although there are some bugs in the software at this time. Albums are not visible by other members until they are made public by the person that made them, and there are some problems in the CMS. Are they just going to update the forums, or are they going to buy the full package?

I've got some good information in some of my posts, but am to lazy to find them and save them. http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_18_7.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZNxdm824MNUS)

About the only time I save posts is when I run across a cultist or other non-Christian who goes the "I never wrote any such thing" or "Prove I wrote that" route. As soon as they play that card, I start a Word Doc with posts (URL's included) of what they actually wrote on the issue at hand and other key issues so when they play that card again, and they always do, I post the quote and URL. I make sure to include the URL because if I don't they immediately accuse me of fabricating it. "John Milton" is one such person as was "Razer Ramon" (who claims he won't be back on CARM but he's made such promises before and didn't keep them -- I have a suspicion that he's on a vacation and is away from his PC for a while). I've learned that in dealing with cultists and non-Christians who are trying to refute orthodox Christian doctrines, they make inconsistent statements and deny making them so documentation is key to defeating such a red herring.

Good idea. I will have to do the same.

Yeah.. There have been problems with some of the plugins that Matt has been trying to make work in the old software.
The irony is that upgrading to new software, although they may fix a few things, often result in things that used to be working to become broken - lol

Tell him that the tables all come over with an upgrade. So he will have to uninstall all of the add-on's because they probably won't work in the new software. The alternative is to dump everything and put in a fresh install, which gets rid of all of the content that is already there.
That may change if he is only going to put the forum software on, and not use the integrated full package. In that case, I think he'll loose the blogs and albums. http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/3/3_8_14.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZNxdm824MNUS)
