With Biblesoft no longer allowing outside retailers to sell it's products, I went ahead and finally got PC Study Bible 5 (upgrading from v4) Advanced Reference Library. It came in today and just installed it.
:L24:
I am very pleased...thrilled even. This one is 5.0C specifically and since my OS is Windows 7 I need to obtain 5.0F which fixes a lot of the incompatibility issues. Thus far I'm not having too many problems when I run the program. Only when I try to register it online, the system at Biblesoft remembers my v4 registration and won't accept my username and pw for v5 (it states the username and pw already exists and requests I log on -- I do but when I go back to the registration page, it still does the username/pw conflict -- and it won't allow me to download the abbreviate 5.0F until I've registered the program -- apparently you have to do it online because there isn't anything within the program itself that registers -- I've sent their support dept. a request for help as well as a request to send me the full 5.0F on 3CDs via snail mail).
:L52:
Anyway, the resources that come standard in v5 are more than in v4. I'm a bit overwhelmed at the moment. Now that my money situation is in better state I should be able to save up and buy some add-on resources from BibleSoft in the future.
