Does Avraham's Blessing have his comment thing turned off, or am I experiencing a glitch? There's no place to make a comment on his latest blog entry.

He probably has it turned off. He will have to check on his side of this mess. :bigthink:

No, it still won't let me. And this is interesting as well...the only option I had for replying to your message here was "reply with quotes." There was no "quick reply" option. I've logged out and back in, so I'm not sure what's up.

Maybe it's my browser acting weird cause I just posted a reply to Ted on another thread, and it had the "reply" button as well as the "with quote" button. So I came back over here to see, and sure enough there's a "reply" button here again. Hmm...I think I'll reboot and see if that clears it up.

I don't see anything in the blog settings that should be causing you a problem, Terri. I have you set for every option to work except one. The only thing that you don't have is posting html in a reply, which nobody has, because some one with some skills can ruin the site if it's allowed. It's not recommended that option to be on unless you can trust every person that has access to your site.

Well, I added him as a friend, and that didn't help either. I tried using IE instead of Google Chrome, and that didn't help. I've rebooted my comp, logged out and back in, and it won't let me send a "report" either. It brings up the form, but it won't post what I write, and that might be for administrators only, I don't know.

Just in case I can't ever get it to work...lol:

My comment was going to be that I agreed with you and that one way to look at it is similar to a physician's malpractice charge. If a doctor is on call and one of their nurses accidentally or intentionally causes harm to a patient that ends up suing them, the doctor is named as the plaintiff even though they didn't do anything and might not have even been in the hospital at the time. They aren't guilty of doing the act, yet they pay the price for it. The exception would be that the nurse (us) still has to make payment in a malpractice lawsuit, and we do not have to make payment that Christ has already made.

My husband's sister is a retired pediatrician, and this happened to her once. Seems completely unfair to me, but in the eyes of the law, she is responsible because she was the physician in charge of the nurse.

OK, I just logged out and tried to view the Blogs as a guest. There was no "Reply" button or way to reply to a blog. This should not be. You may have found a bug in the software, I'll look into it and report back.

What's weird is that I can see the comment/reply form on everyone's but his and mine, or at least that's the way it was yesterday. I haven't tried this morning. Thanks!
