Are discussion forums losing momentum? From my perspective, posting has been on the decline for the last year, my posting included.

The group here has become somewhat smaller I think. Time is also an issue. Then there is what to discuss. Personally I'm enjoying the reading we are doing together even if I have to sit on my hands in order to be constructive.

I suppose the question we have to start thinking about again is how to bring more folks in here to "discuss" and what that would entail.

I think maybe a lot of people are more into blogging than discussion forums. I'm not, but it seems like a lot of folks are. I'm enjoying the Bennett thread and the new reading material I've acquired because of it. Mostly,though, I think most of us here are so much of one mind that we don't have a lot to bat back and forth about...which is good!, but at the same time probably cuts down some on the actual discussion part of it.

Probably blogging is less stressful for many who just want to teach and not be challenged.
