For those of you who have ever wondered what I look like - well, at least what I looked like two years ago upon my entry to DTS after staying up all night working and then going by the seminary to have my photo taken - check out my blog.

I comment on religion and politics and sports. Please come by and leave a comment.

Seeing if the icon works, er, the avatar. It does. For those wondering, it's Mr and Mrs Daniel Wallace (her name is Pati)

In the avatar you look like Bill Gaither. A young Gaither.

Thanks for mentioning LAD on your blog. Hopefully we can grow a little, I would like to see us around a hundred or so members who are posting and causing thought to take place. Mature men and women that can have a discussion and edify, I think we have an excellent start.

Personally I am tired of arguing about doctrine and am more interested, at least at this time of life, in getting taught and teaching. I am ready to explore the faith in new ways, or maybe in old ways renewed. I would like to see a verity of ideas that cause us to study and discuss things, rather than go over the same ground over and over.

 I would love to see that, too.

I thought it was Maestroh in his avatar, when he clearly stated that it was DR. and Mrs. Wallace.

Maybe Maestroh is a super hero by night and a lowly professor by day.

You know the funny thing?

I've been at DTS for TWO YEARS now.

You know how many times I've actually SEEN Wallace on campus?

Three.

That, of course, doesn't mean he's not there. I haven't had any of his classes yet. He gets to wipe me out in the fall of 2008 in Advanced Greek Grammar. (Buist Fanning - one of Wallace's two prime mentors, along with the late Dr. Harry Sturz - is teaching it this fall).

John Hannah his supposed to be taking a year off for his 'every seventh year' sabbatical. His health is poor enough that I don't know if he'll be back. I hope so, he does a great service to DTS.
