Kalamazoo's Hockey team is coming to Rockford to play our ICE HOGS in a best of 7 for the Colonial Cup (league championship). Ted, I'm rooting for Rockford :bigtup:

Sounds to me like a professional lugie spitting championship. :sparkle: Personally I like the more violent sports like Ultimate Fighting Championship. Oh I forgot, hockey is more violent than that. :medium-smiley-011:

I can honestly say that I have never watch a hockey game, exceptin' for a few minutes here and there. I have no idea what is going on other than the players are trying to get a puck into the goal.

Now Curling, that's the ice sport for fat guys like me.

I saw one hockey game in person in my life. It was a minor league game between Wichita Falls (TX) and Frisco (TX). For some reason, I had to wear a coat because it was cold in the building.

Yeah, I used to like Jim Rock-fraud, too. I used to listen to the theme and then go to bed. He later wound up getting a Purple Heart for Korea and then died while fooling around with his secretary in "The Distinguished Gentleman."

Come to think of it, that scene was probably based on Nelson Rockefeller, who died at his mistress' house. I think his lover was like 26, later inspiring Anna Nicole to go for the money.

And speaking of Anna Nicole: while we don't glory in the deaths of anyone, is it not biblical justice that she and the son of that guy fought through the courts for twelve years - then he dies right about the time the court rules he doesn't get it; and she dies less than a year later w/o time to even enjoy it?

Curling is what you do with weights, right?

Personally, I'm into dwarf throwing.

This Rockford Ice Hog team just finished its last season with a league championship. Next year, we are moving up to a tougher Hockey league.
