A guy took his dog to the vet, he thought it had died and wanted the vet to make sure that there was nothing that could be done for him.
Doc said, "sure enough your dog is dead, I am very sorry."
The guy said, "how can you really know doc if you don't run a test. Please run some kind of test so you can be absolutely sure."
So the doc said, "ok". He brought a cat out of the backroom and let the cat crawl around on the dog, sniffing him and sinking it's claws into the dog. The dog didn't move. "Sure enough that dog is dead."
"Well ok", said the guy.
The doctor said, "I am very sorry but here is your bill, I have to charge you for coming in."
The guy looked at the bill and it was for $1167.00.
He was shocked and said, "this is ridculous, 1167 bucks to tell me my dog is dead."
"OH NO!", said the doc, "To tell you that you dog was dead only was $25, the rest is for the cat scan."
