Just to let folks know I might be out of the loop for a while over the next few days unless I pop in on a wiFi connection somewhere. I just finished my last day on the job here in Louisiana after nine years. The family and I are heading to Asheville, NC soon (returning to western NC to be close to the grandkids). I start my new position on Monday in an entirely new industry for me. My former position was Controller at a pulp & paper manufacturer in southern Louisiana. The new job will be in the automotive OEM area (BorgWarner) so there will be some interesting challenges coming up.
If any of you have had any experience at implimenting an SAP ERP system, I'm open for pointers. Thats my gig for the next 12-18 months.
Blessings in Christ

We head that way every couple of years to see the zoo. That would be the only thing I could find though :medium-smiley-010:
I'm sure you'll have that SAP ERP whipped in no time, whatever that is.
I'm praying for you and yours.

I have prayed for you and your family. I will continue to pray for you and your family. And now I will add that your safety and success in this new job will be a most pleasurable experience.
Blessings brother Trav.

Hey..
I've got a cousin in Charlotte.
Don't really know how far that is from Asheville.
Her husband builds Nascar engines.
God bless you and your family Trav,
John

What an interesting coincidence. Charlotte is about 1 1/2 hours away down the mountains. My sister lives in Statesville and her husband is a NASCAR engine man for one of the Busch teams.

Hey Trav,
Matt told me that there is supposed to be an apologetics conference in NC sometime in November.
I don't have all the details yet, but a group of us are thinking about attending.
If you are interested, I will keep you posted.
God bless,
John

I would recommend having it at Lake Junaluska (my new home). It is one of the headquarters for the United Methodists. Of course Calvinists, conservative Wesleyans and other sound thinking orthodox souls would have to check their logic when entering the premises.
