I have a friend who likes to dive in rivers and catch them by hand. He puts a kevlar glove on and sticks his hand in his mouth and the fish clamps on his hand. I think they call it "noodling" or something like that.

Yep, that would be noodling. It's an Oklahoma sport that they have contests for. Not me, buddy...LOL! The folks up here don't use gloves, though. *shudder* No way am I sticking my hand in some hole in the creek or river to get some fish! I love to go catfishing, but noodling I can live without :-P.
