Giant Killer Wasps

I took the garbage out last night, and what I saw was quite amazing. Burrowing under my neighbor's driveway was this huge wasp. It was about 2 inches long, and quite menacing looking. So tonight, I went and looked further and what I found was that several of these big wasps are burrowing under the driveway. I went and looked up on the Internet on what these things are. They are called Cicada Killer Wasps. They hunt down Cicada in the trees and kill them for food.

I have never heard of such a thing. This was very interesting to me. I will try to get some pictures and post them. :bigthink:
