Context: Our middle daughter was always one of those rough and tumbles yet very feminine as well. She was the true "farmer's daughter" in that mechanical things come easily to her....she just has a "sense" about it. Anyway, up until about a year ago, she had no use for purses and poked fun at all the girly girls that carried them. Then suddenly, in her second year of college she started thinking she might need one. A classmate gave her a little pink ostrich skin purse for a "first purse." (None of them could believe she'd never owned one...lol) So ever since then we've teased her about her li'l pink purse that goes with her EVERYWHERE now.

A couple weeks ago, her dad needed her to help him move tractors from a couple fields back to where we keep them parked. So I take her to the one she's supposed to move, and of course, the li'l pink purse goes with her. I told her I needed a picture of that since I'd bet there are next to zero young women who would drive a tractor carrying their purse and wearing their hoop earrings...LOL.

So, here she is...with her li'l pink purse getting out of the tractor.

That is funny. You know when I drive the tractors though, I carry a blue one. :medium-smiley-011:

LOL! I can't laugh tooooo hard because I always carry my purse when I go check cows every day. One just never knows what one might need...lol.

*I hope this posts in the right spot. For some reason, I mess up on this particular board.*

Just so you don't share your lipstick with them..., it is OK. :biglol:

It don't matter, it isn't like there are thousands of folks posting. Post where you want, or post where you think you want, even if it is somewhere else.

I got a picture in my head of a cow with lipstick on, and your standing there leaning on the tractor with your purse slung over your shoulder, and saying to your daughter whose purse is stuffed full, "ain't she pretty now." :BigB:

Blessings sister Terri.

Well, I suppose that's nothing really.

My late wife (Beverli) had so much stuff that she felt that she "needed", so she would use a backpack as a purse.

Of course, every man dreads the inevitable, "honey, can you hold this for a second" proposition :bigO: - Lol.

Aw I'm sorry to hear that she's your late wife. My condolences.

I understand the dread. I used to use a backpack as a diaper bag/purse combo..lol. John (my husband) would always cringe when I tossed it his way..

a girl who can drive tractors and be feminine is much to be desired.

lol...well in her chosen profession (Veterinary Technician) she also wrangles cattle, sheep, pigs, and all large animals (this includes dehorning, castrating, vaccinating, hoof trimming, surgery, implants, etc.) as well as all the same in small animals (cept for the hoof and horn thing) ;-). She'll get her degree in January (if all goes as planned!).

Nice to "see" you!

Now this begs the question, do cows get utter implants so they can wear a bigger suction cup. :BigB:

Just kidding. :big_teeth_2:
