I have to say that the fundamentalist at CARM are some of the meanest bunch I have ever met. They think they own the baptists board, and get angry any time you ask any questions about Baptists.
I have some good friends that are fundamentalists, and they aren't this way at all. Is this just an internet thing?

For example.
when I talk of history, there is much spectulation, the RCC and it's off spring the Presbyterian, Lutheran, and others have come though the RCC and as such much of what is taught for history, is from the RCC, so when you receive your history lesson about church history it is authored by the RCC, as you see the history of are faith has been called heresy by the RCC and back-up by years of murdering anyone who didn't agree with ROME was destroyed so before you get on your soap box, just remember what I said, are history has been destroyed, by the RCC who would if it could would have done away with the Bible, but Gods word will never be destroyed, even the best efforts of the RCC, could not stop Gods word.
So if your comments on this web site are not well received, or you feel were attacking, you who believe your heresy, and yes I am one of the Fundies as you people like to make comments about and yes, I realize this is a debate forum.

Fundies are the mushrooms of the human race who are sure about that which is not even probable in many cases.

For example.
All that and not one shred of evidence offered. Just that infallible opinion.
And who is doing to Papal thing?

I kinda like Another Reformed Baptist last time I visited the CARM mayhem.
IFBs are the meanest people I know. Racism and bigotry and KJV onlyism and busted theology are par for the course for many of these rednecks round here. They hate Calvinists with a deep passion and call Calvin the "Geneva Pope".

is on the pages of the KJV.
Most IFBs anyway.
And yeah, they're pretty mean. J. Frank Norris (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._Frank_Norris)and all that.
I especially like this part:
That same year, Norris was indicted for the murder of lumberman Dexter Elliot Chipps, a friend of Meacham's, in the church office. Norris claimed the possibly unarmed Chipps had threatened his life, and Norris was acquitted on grounds of self-defense.
No 'like a lamb' from this pig.

Will someone else verify if the calvinist/arminian board at CARm is turned off, or if I have been banned from it?
I don't see why I would have.

I noticed your IFB combatant claims to be a 5 point Calvinist. He's a new breed to me, but he knows how to post links to things he hasn't read or cares about.

That one isn't too bad. Its David Dutton that is the pain in the rear. BTW, can you get to the Calvinist/arminian board?

Odd...most peg me for a Reformed Baptist. I'll admit that I like to argue on occasion...so if that makes me a fighter then so be it. I even have been known to get testy with some folks.
Truthfully I don't know where I fit in the Calvinist...er...spectrum. 5 pointer? You betcha. Other than that :BigB:
Maybe someone will someday figure it out and tell me. Until then I'll remain happily clueless and continue following the Lord Jesus and trying to get His Word to sink a little further in.
