September was a good month for LAD. We averaged 9055 hits a day and for a total of 271672 visits for the month. We are approaching 2 million hits since Nov 2006. I am always amazed by these numbers. The most visits were produced by the D. A. Waite threads, Refutation of D. A. Waite that Maestroh had started. I think those threads are hit the most when folks do a search for his name in Google or Yahoo.

Nice going M, you are being read there.

The top countries that visited us were Canada, Chile, Denmark, Poland, Australia, Pakistan and China. The EU also produces a lot of hits.

The #1 producing search word is Amillennialism, which brings in a lot of hits from all over. I think a section on Millennial views will be appropriate some day.

Blessings. And thank you all for using LAD, I hope it is a blessing to you.

I don't get near the traffic of LAD for my site, but it amazes me to see the diversity of people looking at it. One of my major countries is Singapore of all places.

BTW, I keep getting this weird guestbook entry:

Name:

maru star

Message:

jimfd kmfao fdmo

kmio mintqz

When I delete it he/she puts it back, so I just left it. Anybody know if it has a meaning? Is it something ugly?

Not that this is the case here, because I really don't know what any of the above would mean unless she wrote in Chineese or Singaporian (?), and the computer doesn't know how to translate the font. But..., I am told that a lot of the hackers and spammers come out of Singapore, China, and Korea. I have no idea if that is true though. What they do is try to hack websites some how and use the members list to spam. This happen on LAD, and now I get spam from an email address that uses LAD in part of the address of the people sending the messages. It is always for used car dealerships in the Carolina's. Strange.

I used to get this same scam at my office through the fax machine. Sometimes I would come in and there would be 20 or 30 pages of Spam sent through the fax with all kinds of junk in there during the night.

And now we have Emails.

Miss Prisca Ebahlah, who is probably a Mister, has been banned along with his IP. I guess I'll need to turn this guy over to our web host and let them ban him to. :disgust:

That is surprising since no one can ever spell it right.

Is the fact that the 'refutation of D.A. Waite' thread - which is actually the Servetus-Maestroh debate - is the most popular thread.

Funny how a 'locked' thread is the most read thread at LAD....

Yes, and I am familiar with how this 'game' unfolds.

If you follow up on the email, you will be informed that in order for the funds transfer to "go though" you will have to make a small deposit into a foreign account first - Lol.

And once you do that, your deposit money is gone.

Yeah. But once you stop and think about the fact that there are folks who send TV preachers of the Word-Faith stripe thousands of dollars, it doesn't seem so far-fetched, does it?

Thousands of dollars! I have a friend who owns a fairly big and successful business who has given hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years to fellows like KC and KH. Now he regrets wasting his money and doesn't give much to anyone ceptin' his own church.

He smartened up a lot. :medium-smiley-011:

I suppose not. After all, whether to the TV-evangel-ilks or schemes such as this, it's all about "what I can get" out of it, eh?

Ugh, just typing that made me remember the phrase "merely salvation" or "only salvation" over on the WoF board at CARM...grrrrrrrrrr. As though salvation was lacking anything.
