Reason for warning

Since I am banned from CARM and cannot post there I will tell Yodas here why I gave him a warning.

You attacked KJammers character by stating he was scared of debating on CARM. That is a attack on his character.

Dont go off running your mouth on some other board that you were warned on my board. If you dont have the guts to ask me why then I will come to where you are at. I fear no one. That is my board and I will run it as I see fit. This is someone elses board and they run it the way they want. I did not see what Bob James posted, but in the managements eyes he broke a rule, therefor it was edited.You broke a rule, therefor it was edited and you were warned. End of discussion. You have a problem on my board, come to me, dont go to another board and run your mouth or you will be gone as quick as you got there.

We agree here. There is a built in bias when you post on someone else's board, and if something crosses a line then the owner of the board will react accordingly. It may not seem fair to all, but that is just how it goes.


As far as Bob James' post. It was my decision to edit his post because another LAD Regent had found it offensive. I would have let it stand if that offense hadn't happened. It isn't so much that he felt that Dr. Kennedy would be in hell, it was how he worded that feeling. If he would have used some diplomacy in stating his belief it would not have been edited. I would use this same standard on anyone that is posting on LAD. If some of the membership would find something offensive and complain to me about it, I would edit the post.

And finally, as far as a debate would go, that would be set up in the debate board with only participants and moderators allowed access to the debate. I would think that in that case a wider tolerance would be accepted in the debate than on the general LAD forums. Since the debate would be moderated, and I would suggest that one moderator from either side be allowed access to the debate so that moderation could happen fairly.

I agree. the problem is this. Yodas_Prodigy will not let KJammer pick the moderator he wants. If he wants Bob James I doubt that this board will give him moderator status in the debate room. Just my opinion, I might be wrong.If they want both moderators on each board I would give his moderator access to the debate room.

Actually, KJ could have had any moderator that he wanted over at the Oneness Forum. And I would have my choice here.

Moderators, for sure. I think that what is clearly being voiced is that there needs to be a fair treatment on either side.

But your point is clear brother, it sounds like we are looking for facilitators.

So if Yodas dont mind that Bob is his moderator you will give him moderating privlages here. If thats the case then Yodas can tell me who his moderator is then he would have to register on my board and i will give him moderator privlages in my Debate room. Thats if KJammer wants to do it.

actually Bob James has an "Internet reputation" and has been banned from other websites. he can be quite abusive and in my opinion that plays against anything he might have to say that i might consider. on the other hand though I have seen some folks be abusive to him to, and that plays against them as well.

It is best to have discussions with a friendly manner, so that it don't degenerate into something that is offensive.
