I haven't taken pictures seriously for about 10 years now. I found myself wanting to get back into this hobby for sometime. So I went to my closet and got my 35 mm Pentax out and started looking it over. Covered with dust and needing batteries, I cleaned it off and did some maintainence on it. Looks good now, and I am going to start taking pictures again. Graceshaker inspired me awhile ago.

I have a digital camera and love some of the features on that. Can put about 1000 pictures on it before I need to download them onto the computer. I wish there was an attachment that fit into a 35mm film camera that would make it digital and let someone have that feature. I have literally thousands of dollars in lenses and add-on's for my Pentax, I would hate to give that up, but at the same time I would like to upgrade to another digital.

Anyone got any ideas? http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_14_13.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZSYYYYYYYYUS)

Start in a place like this

Pentax should have designs that keep in mind what they've done in the past. Staying with your old camera body and attempting to upgrade it into digital is a dead-end. About 7 years ago I worked with a photography buff that did just that, but after much $$$ he gave up and went with new digital.

But don't get me started thinking about this; I haven't done anything serious with a camera for about 25 years. Too much on my plate these days to take up another hobby. Very enjoyable and rewarding, though. Have fun!!

Thanks Bob, it looks to me at this point in time, that $1000 dollars could by a lot of film and I can get a disk with the pictures on them. I can't afford the new camera that takes my lenses with "restrictions". http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_14_6.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZSYYYYYYYYUS)
