I see there are books by Platinga that come up on the Amazon book search. Is anyone familiar with him? and do you know where he stands doctrinally?

He is president of Calvin Theological Seminary; that ought to tell you where he stands. I've used his Engaging God's World as a textbook for a class in Christian thinking and living.
