Democrats:

It looks to me as though he is pretty much out of it now. The Clinton's will play the race card and bring out his ties to the racist Pastor White, from now on. All the while they will whitewash Hillary as the great hope of society. She sees herself as the hope of western civilization. And in political substance there is absolutely no difference between the two.

Republicans:

McCain..., need we say more?

Alright RRHeustisJr, maybe I am more open to the idea of this third party than I originally thought. :bigthink:

For starters, our media keeps showing national poll numbers which MIGHT be relevant if we had a national election; but we don't. We have 51 state elections. Obama is going to lose PA because of it, but he is going to win the most delegates, the most votes, and the most states.

Furthermore, the Left Rev's bashing of America makes Obama a great nominee for the McGovern wing of the Democratic Party. It's truth in advertising.

McCain may not be our ideal candidate, but we are now stuck with him. I suspect that if he wins, Limbaugh is right - it will change the course of the Republican Party, and we'll be back to the Taft-Roosevelt and Rockefeller-Goldwater wars of the past.

Looks like you called this one better than I did. And now, after the Pastor Wright thing is put to rest, Obama has come back. Most see him as the Democratic candidate, for sure. I wouldn't count the Clinton's out yet, she'll pull out the gender card and anything else she can before the D-Convention.

We won't have a candidate in the general election, but those who join the American Heritage Party (http://www.americanheritageparty.org) are committed to building an explicitly Christian party for the long-run, and not for short-term gratification.
