There was going to be a new release of the vBulletin software this week, a major upgrade to 3.7.0. But a security problem was found in the software and they are going to plug the hole and retest the new software. This means that some of the new features I wanted to put on LAD will be put on hold. Also, I just upgraded from the software release 3.6.8 to 3.6.9. This was to fix a security problem, and the same bug was found in 3.6.9 as in the new release. They asked us to upgrade to 3.6.10 if we are not going to upgrade to the 3.7.0 (the new release that has the bug in it). If I upgrade to 3.6.10, that means I'll have to upgrade to 3.7.0 in a few weeks. If I upgrade to 3.7.0 now, it is unsupported and if any problems come up then I will have to reinstall the 3.6.9 that I am using now.
If you can follow all of that, it's frustrating. http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_19_5.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZSYYYYYYYYUS)
