Is anyone good at computer graphics?
I would like to take the picture at the top of the forum and make it more professional looking by putting a better graphic (Light After Darkness Foundation) on it. I would even consider making a new image to go up to the top altogether, that would capture the theme of light after darkness.
Also I would like a better graphic at the top of the Home Statement. SEE HERE (http://www.light-after-darkness.org/).
Please let me know if you are interested in this.
Thanks. :medium-smiley-011:

Same here. And I am not that creative with those kinds of programs if they are more powerful, because I have to spend a lot of time learning them. http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/3/3_8_14.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZNxdm824MNUS)

It looks good but a little lost way over there in the corner.

This might be a little big but it if you folks like it then you can cut it down to size.

They are both really nice. If there is a larger version of Julie's graphic I might be able to "widescreen" it so that it's not crammed over there in the corner.
Found out the reason why GiMP wouldn't install...the latest version only works on XP SP3...which I hadn't updated too until now.

Well..., what do you think?
Maybe the writing is a little small.

I think that of the two Julie's fits the new theme better and yeah the lettering on mine could be larger. Also I can cut the un-needed portion from the top.
My question would be can it be centered or made to extend across the top Ted? Could you set up an e-mail address or skydrive so we can drop images there for your consideration?

I'll try your image in the new style, I forgot to change that. What I'll do is start a social group for LAD and people can upload pictures into that. We can also talk about LAD and what should be done, what features to add or change, etc.
I can center an image, or put it on either side, and I think I can stretch an image to fit into a container at the top. But..., and I think this needs some thought, I was going to put some "things" in the top for members. Like a podcast feature that we can upload sermons, teachings and songs, and let other LAD Members share the blessing we get from them. Like I said, that needs some thought though Carl. I had thought about a broadcast that would change weekly or daily, and if you wanted to hear it just click an icon and it would play while you were on the LAD site.

Cool...I've attached another rendition of the file with larger lettering and it's been cropped a little lower.

Cursive seems to be a bane when it comes to taking images down in size. I could bold the text which would make it stand out more but then it looks clunky to me.
Oh well...I never claimed to be any good at this. :medium-smiley-010:

Putting Julie's picture up for a few days. Just to get a feel for it. :sparkle:

I was looking for an add-on to the software that would do that. There are a couple, so I may just do that.
