Seems dhalgren decided to show his Muslim religion and how his god leads him to act by being most vulgar and obnoxious. If being vulgar is a result of following Allah, and his actions are representitive of the Muslim religion, it is most shameful.

At least he hasn't killed anyone in the name of Allah.
