George used to be someone I highly admired...I was supprised when I learned he died this morning. Over the last few years I had hoped that the Lord would lay hold of him. I'm highly doubtful this has been the case. Little good his "freedom" from God is doing him now.

Yes said if that is the case. He was an enemy to the gospel, I hope it grabbed his heart before his death.

George Carlin had such an impact on my life, his attitude was real, he showed us the ugly reality of a world gone mad. George Carlin expresses his opinions with much love to help humanity evolve their thinking abilities. I will not, question his faith, that is merely between him and God and none of us should be in any position to say he deserve any less. But I do hope, his last moments of breathe was the greatest conversation with God he ever had.

I'd agree with his low opinion of the RCC and it's practices at least. He had an impact on me as well. Hopefully that last conversation went something like "You win Lord Jesus".

In all of the history of the human race, it doesn't appear that humanity has evolved in their thinking abilities. We are still thinking of the same things as our predecessors.

While that is true, I meant that George Carlin has helped us think beyond our own reasoning, not that he introduced anything new, but he simply shined light in the darkest of the caves (of a world of chaos) allowing us to think further about our own supposed reasoning and logic.

Gotcha', I think he did do that.
