....does it take so long for the page to load when I'm trying to read a post? Is that just me and my comp or is that happening with everyone? It'll load the banner and logo pic and all that just fine, but then it takes a while for the post I'm trying to get to (or reply to) to show up.

I have asked the people that host where LAD is if that is something on their end or mine. I thought it was just me. They looked into it and said the problem is not on their end. And linked me to a program on their server that keeps track of those types of things. The problem is downstream from them. And at times, because there are so many computers that things are travelling through, things just run very slow. They suggested that a person can close down the program and restart their broswer, it may find faster connections. But, most of the time it just can't be helped.

I went through a period about a week or two ago when it seemed to take one or two minutes for a LAD page to load, and I was very frustrated. Since then I have been getting very fast load times on LAD and very slow load times on CARM. In the last one or two days though, it seems to be running normal. Today LAD is loading very fast.

If you would like Terri, I will give you a link that checks the load times from the computers that you are linking through to get to LAD. I will have to do that tonight though, because I have that link at home.

Oh, it's not THAT bad. I just thought maybe I had something going on with my comp and this site that was doing it. CARM generally loads really fast, but I've gone through times with it as well. I was mostly concerned about whether or not it was me.
