I know that this would be catastrophic and tragic and would cause all kinds of new suffering, but something evil in me hopes this guy is right for Algore's sake: Global warming is over – a new cold climate has begun (http://www.spaceandscience.net/id16.html)
EDIT: Stupid- I said "don't sell you are coat yet" and I can't edit it. So I added this edit so you know I know I'm an idiot.

This issue of global warming is not unlike any other issue regarding the weather.
Meteorologists guess / speculate.

Aren't meteorologists' predictions probabilities?
Any of you remember the '70s and its doom and gloom about global cooling?

If it's any consolation y'all should read "The Priviledged Planet (http://books.google.com/books?id=KFdu4CyQ1k0C&dq=the+priviledged+planet&pg=PP1&ots=3jD9UU1Tfd&sig=8mg0Apx1VcZs5He-JoJsCeHrNm4&hl=en&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=1&ct=result)". Depending on where you stand in the ID/Creationist/??? debate you might have to ignore the "timeline" proposed but the science is solid and interesting.
Here's the author's website as well:

Sure. But weather systems behave in a mathematically chaotic manner, which means that the further into the future one wishes to predict the smaller the likelihood of things turning out that way become.

Yes! In fact, Bob Dutko (an apologist on KBRT radio here in the So-Cal area) brought this point up on his show this week.

Dang, and I just sold my coat. :big_teeth_2:
BTW, I doubt anyone really knows what's going on a this point. The Ozone hole at the South Pole is closing, there was more ice produced at the North Pole last winter than ever before, and my new nieghbors are penguins who by Gieco Insurance and sleep at the Holiday Inn on the weekend.
BTW, remember in the sixties everyone was all about global warming, remember the movie Solient Green. And then in the seventies it was all about global cooling and a new ice age. What I think is one good ol' volcano that spues several thousand metric tons of ash into the atmosphere will significantly cool things, and a little extra elipse in the earths orbit and a infintesmal wobble of the earth probably warms us. :yum:

No worries bro, I've got at least two coats.
I wish it would snow here in Virginy again. It's been a couple of years and I miss it.
The latest thing on the Science channel had global warming causing a new ice age. Then the core stops spinning and the poles reverse and a meteor hits and makes it really hot then even colder and dark.
